Data and AI Solutions Principal

The Services Solutions Principal works within our Dell Technologies Services (DTS) Presales team. They are responsible for leading the Data, Data Science, AI/Gen AI & ML services solution definition in close alignment with the Services Sales, Services Solutioning, Services Delivery Teams, Solution Partners and in collaboration with product account teams to position the Dell solution that best meets customer requirements and expected outcomes. Our Services support the entire solution lifecycle and its Strategize, Implement, Adopt and Scale phases and span across our Consulting, Deployment, Residency and Managed services.

What you’ll achieve

This is a senior, presales, customer facing role. The Services Solutions Principal will lead the development of client presentations up to C-level management, workshops, Services Solution design, Services responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOW) creation and review, effort estimation and transition of work to the delivery organization through appropriate practice management.

You will be involved in projects with the latest artificial intelligence technologies, (including GEN AI) and will conceive everything from adapting the project to the client's strategy to proposing the most compatible technology. You will work with large companies in projects with high visibility.

You will:

• Conduct presentations in varying technical depths to support sales.

• Specify the technical details (particularly data architecture) for AI / GEN AI projects seeking to meet complex requirements.

• Specify squads to deliver the project in the most efficient way in several dimensions.

Essential Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Preparation, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, key application architecture and integration concepts, container and virtualization architectures and platforms, AIOPs, MLOPs.

• Proven experience in client facing roles and effectively influencing at all levels (up to CxO) with ability to construct, tailor, and negotiate service contracts (e.g. Statements of Work) for both customer engagement and partner provisioning.

• Good and broad knowledge of AI, its concepts and libraries: supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, main machine learning algorithms, artificial neural networks, and NLP. Experience in Generative AI: familiarity with generative AI frameworks, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Inferencing, and Fine-Tuning.

• Ability to Define IT Architectures for AI/GEN AI Use Cases: proficiency in designing IT infrastructures tailored for artificial intelligence applications, with a preference for open-source solutions or frameworks. The candidate should be skilled in designing, validating, and proposing IT infrastructure architectures for both cloud and on-premises environments, along with the necessary software for Generative AI/AI workloads and use cases.

• Communication in both Portuguese and English.

Desirable Requirements

• Advanced Degree: Possession of a master's or doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields, with a focus on generative artificial intelligence being a plus.

• Previous experience in consulting firms will be a relevant aspect.
