We are looking for Senior Project Manager to join our France team.

Position Overview:

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing moderate to large scale Government solution project. The Sr. Project Manager works under the guidance of Regional Project Management Office and Professional Services Management. The Project Manager performs the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Project Management Plan to include eight areas (Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communication, Risk, Procurement, Human Resources) associated with the overall project management plan.

  • Determine and manage system scope and project objectives, the role and function of each team member, and effectively coordinate the activities of the team in order to achieve the project objectives.

  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated and reflective of authorized project changes and facilitate customer acceptance.

  • Create the work breakdown structure with the team using appropriate tools and techniques in order to develop the cost, schedule, resource, quality and procurement plans.

  • Obtain project plan approval from the customer in order to formalize the project management approach.

  • Lead and direct the work of others.

  • Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align stakeholders and team members.

  • Obtain project charter approval from the sponsor and customer (if required) in order to formalize authority, gain commitment and project acceptance.

  • Responsible for all aspects of a project over the entire life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).

  • Implement approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholders.

  • Execute tasks defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.

  • Record detailed customer requirements, constraints and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques and the project charter.

  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Conduct analysis to determine the successful aspects of the project and opportunities for improvement

  • Lead project debrief meeting with project team to determine what went well and what could have gone better

  • Interface with Account Manager and /or Customer Contact to determine customer satisfaction with project

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience

  • Proven knowledge of Government Solution project management concepts, practices and procedures.

  • Experience managing implementation projects for external customers and partners

  • Demonstrated success in effectively communicating at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.

  • Ability to manage and work with a culturally diverse population

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to anticipate roadblocks, diagnose problems and generate effective solutions

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

  • Fluent in English

  • Competent in use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large scale project teams

  • Experience working on technically complex projects

  • PMP certification
