As a Mechanical Engineering Coop, you will create detail drawings of parts assemblies and cables using SolidWorks Software adhering to Teradyne format.

The ideal candidate will take thermal measurements of circuit card components as well as system level characterization using system software and actual thermal couple measurements with data to be shared with team formatted in EXCEL and PowerPoint

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Experience Required in the following areas:

  • Must be working towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering

  • 2 years min. completed in Mechanical Engineering Program

  • Prior Coop / intern experience preferred.

  • Must be proficient in Solidworks 2022 or higher

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs including Visio is required

  • Design of metal fabrication, machining and various fastening methods (hardware, adhesives, rivets, etc)

  • Must be able to generate Mechanical design and documentation of components and assemblies, including generating complete detailed drawings of piece parts and assemblies up to complete systems.

  • Ability to multi-task by contributing to various projects.

  • Prior Co-op experience preferred – Teradyne Coop experience a plus

  • Must be available to commute to and work at the North Reading, MA facility
