Sezzle seeks Associate Engineering Director in Minneapolis, MN to Lead the software development for the checkout team including writing code and advising on architecture; Monitor and maintain data pertaining to the checkout service on a daily basis; Handle checkout application-related operational incidents; Coordinate with other teams on cross-team projects that involve checkouts; Work with the Product team to plan and execute software and project deliverables within Agile team processes; Prepare specifications and determine operational feasibility; Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code; Organize, document, and maintain software functionality; Provide support and consulting on software systems usage; Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards; Lead interviews and hire new members for the team; Manage a team of engineers, by teaching best software development practices and coaching them on their career goals while holding them accountable to company expectations and goals.
