Responsibilities

Description of duties and responsibilities:

  • * Conduct all aspects of a financial analysis including data gathering, model construction, and preparation of presentation documents.
  • * Prepare financial reports, summaries, trends and variance reports to support internal and external reporting requirements and presentations.
  • * Provide daily support to cardholders in Purchasing Card program and/or Travel Card program.
  • * Provide training for cardholders and approvers of card programs.
  • * Conduct audits of reports and transactions associated with card programs.
  • * Day-to-day processing of invoices and check requests.
  • * Identify key process improvements and recommend changes to improve systems, processes and performance.
  • * Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, requesting stop payments and refunds or credit memos.
  • * Assist with relevant month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • * Perform weekly vendor payment runs.

Qualifications

Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • * Thorough understanding of financial analysis with strong analytical abilities.
  • * Creative problem solving and ability to generate high quality innovative solutions.
  • * Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • * Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • * Ability to interact and work in a cross functional team environment.
  • * Ability to travel domestically, with some possible international travel.

Education and experience required:

  • * Bachelor's degree in in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline.
  • * No experience is required
