Become a Safety Governance Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will develop and maintain plans, processes, and approaches to align safety governance entities to actively support the transformation of SCE's safety culture, facilitate communication among governance teams, and provide support and tools for their efforts. A big part of your job will be to establish and maintain partnerships, relationship building, and provide resources to safety teams, congresses and councils, as we help them grow and develop. You will also provide information and resources to influencers across Edison to understand operations, needs, and leading practices.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Develop and implement a safety governance strategy

  • Identify and implement opportunities to partner on evolving our safety culture

  • Lead Edison’s safety recognition programs and recognition events

  • Develop and lead presentations for key audiences, including employee groups, executives, and board of directors

  • Integrate your work across enterprise and OU safety efforts

The essentials

  • Ten years of combined experience managing programs and supporting and/or leading business operations

The preferred

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in business administration, communications, organizational behavior, or related field.

  • Experience developing project and/or business plans and work processes

  • Experience developing presentations to communicate with various audiences

  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as strong business planning and organization skills

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
