As a Sr Site Merchandiser, Brand management you’ll be the digital expert that owns and drives our connected commerce to grow our Brands in partnership with Vendors to build the experience of our guest. You will be an enabler of enterprise growth with shared accountability for the Digital P&L, through caretaking site and app KPI’s for key categories. Below are the key skills, knowledge, experiences, and abilities you’ll need to be successful in this role:

Responsibilities:

  • An individual who is highly driven, agility to move & partner across Vendors and teams and leverage their full experience to drive Brand performance & marketshare

  • Depth of Digital Experience: 5+ years of deep functional expertise in digital core functions related to driving a business, including Site Merchandising, Category and Brand growth

  • Retail Acumen: Possess extensive knowledge of retail business fundamentals at a broad scale, including sales trends, assortment, inventory, guest shopping patterns and satisfaction, pricing and promotions strategies.

  • Passionate about understanding Target guests’ journey, needs and trends.

  • Strong analytical and detail oriented approach to problems.

  • Understanding of ecommerce metrics and traffic drivers. Influence Core Category Merchants on growth opportunities based on Traffic and Guest Engagement

  • Strong team collaboration skills with ability to lead proactively.

  • Understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to spot trends.

  • Strong cross functional partnership to draw a clear roadmap and influence change

  • Strong Data Analytics & Visualization for Brand Performance on Target.com

  • Understanding emerging business needs and partner with Media and TPA for integration

  • Proactively owning communication to Sr. leadership on Growth and Opportunities

  • Consultant to pitch site placement recommendations to Vendors & Partners based on performance

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Digital

  • Responsible for strategically and tactically planning for Brand Placements to increase New Guest and Traffic.

  • Curate Relevant product recommendations for improved AOV

  • Analyzing data and pulling insights on guest engagement

  • Create Pitch Documents and provide insights for Brand growth and show ROI and value for partnering with Target.

  • Partner & Intergrate with Media, TPA and Promo Team for seasonal and key moments to amplify Brands & Assortments

  • Implement browse and search tactics using various tools to drive traffic across various channels and platform

  • Direct impact to Category or Brand Growth

  • Proficient in Data Analytics, Google and Adobe Analytics

  • Understanding to digital guest funnel

  • A passion for problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to navigate complex situations.

  • Understands critical drivers and set priorities appropriately.

Work Experience :
