We, in the Teams Platform, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us and be part of an exciting journey in redefining workplace productivity solutions, that scale to our worldwide user base, across industry verticals and multitude of platforms and devices. Responsibilities

  • Play a significant architect role in shaping our software architecture.

  • Take up E2E ownership of deliverables and produce viable solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive features to delivery.

  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of large-scale systems.

  • Ensure availability and latency needs addressed by engineering reliability in software and systems.

  • Actively participate in code and design reviews to maintain high-quality code.

  • Understand both technology and business to know the right tradeoffs to make.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

• 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

• Strong technical, cross group collaboration and communication skills

• Experience in design and implementation of large-scale cloud services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building, and maintaining highly available services in a large service-oriented architecture (SOA).

• Exceptional coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications.

• Full-stack developer with proficiency in JavaScript, React, Typescript etc.

• Excellence in software engineering practices, coding and solid foundation in data structures, algorithms with strong testing, debugging and analytical skills.
