About this role:

Workforce Experience and Productivity Solutions (WXPS) is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer. This role will join our M365 Operations Team to support primarily the Messaging space (Exchange 2016/2019, Exchange Online (Hybrid), Proofpoint, Defender). This role will expand to cross train into M365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

In this role, you will:

• Participate in managing all installed systems, infrastructure and SaaS solutions within the Systems Operations functional area

• Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks

• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution

• Lead and participate in team efforts to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards

• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 3+ years in supporting Enterprise level Messaging environments, Exchange on-premises, as well as M365 SaaS offerings such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting M365 SaaS applications and Azure

• Scripting & Automation, with PowerShell included

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with Enterprise Change Control, Incident Management, Policies, Regulatory requirements

• Experience with Agile, Service Now and Jira as well as monitoring and observability tools such as SCOM, SCOM M365, Thousand Eyes, Aternity, Big Panda
