Description
Environmental Tectonics Corporation, a growing, dynamic US Company located just outside of Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Systems Engineer to work in our Aircrew Training Systems division.
The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of engineering principles and a working knowledge of other related disciplines. Responsibilities will include performing analyses on and participating in the design of ETC’s aircrew physiology training equipment, such as:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage system requirements throughout the product lifecycle
Analyze system safety and reliability
Facilitate system integration
Develop system and subsystem models
Develop and execute test procedures
Oversee the customer acceptance process
Stay abreast of relevant technological developments
Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams
Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including specifications and design documents
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Experience (5-10 years) in systems engineering
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, integration, and verification/validation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools and methodologies (i.e. MATLAB, Autodesk Inventor, FEA, rigid body dynamics)
Ability to read and understand source code
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions
