Takes ownership of projects and watch your creations be released to thousands of users. Works closely with senior engineers developing specific parts of the Aladdin platform. Collaborates with users and the product team to design new features. Gains a broad understanding of the investment process and the capabilities of Aladdin. Collaborates with colleagues to build innovative products during firm-wide hackathons. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineering, Software Development Engineer, Software Engineer, or related role. Five (5) years of experience: Writing clean and maintainable software code for financial applications; Data structures and algorithms; Applying design patterns; Java programming language; Angular, Spring, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3; Agile development methodology; Building applications in a multi-threaded environment; Distributed systems and storage technologies such as Cassandra, Redis, and relational databases; Testing technologies, such as Cucumber or similar frameworks; Working on applications using Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
