Global Metals company is seeking an ambitious Maintenance Technician with a focus on Mechanical Maintenance. OT available, shift differentials for nights and Sundays, and a weekly incentive of 15% (average) Rotating Dupont schedule that fluctuates between days and nights. responsibilities:

Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspecting machinery and equipment to identify any signs of wear, damage, or malfunction. Performing preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.

Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing mechanical issues and determining the root cause of equipment failures. Conducting repairs and replacements of faulty components, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance tasks. Adhering to lockout/tagout procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and following safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements. Documenting equipment specifications, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered during troubleshooting. Reporting maintenance findings and recommendations to supervisors or relevant stakeholders.

Equipment Calibration and Adjustment: Calibrating and adjusting machinery to meet performance specifications and production requirements. Fine-tuning mechanical settings, alignments, and clearances to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
