Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Surgical Technician, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the operating room suite, you will prepare for surgical procedures and arranges sterile set-up of instrument table. • You will assist surgeons by passing instruments, medications, supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating surgeons' needs during the course of surgery

• You will assist in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from high school or equivalent program

• Certification from an accredited school of surgical technology

• Minimum of one year Sugical Tech experience. Prefer 3 years experience.

• Certified as a Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as of January 1, 2018 OR Sucessfully completed a training program for surgical technologists administered by the United States Public Health Service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard OR Engaged in athe practice of surgical technology in a health care facilty before January 1, 2018

• Current BCLS certification required
