The Headlines :

In the role of Sr. Process Safety Management Engineer working in Golden, CO you will be part of the Technical Services team. You will be responsible for leading key process safety requirements and initiatives across the Golden Valley.

This position reports to Unit Manager-Utilities .

The Responsibilities:

  • Leads and influences safety problem solving across the brewery

  • Leader of the mechanical integrity program across the valley. Manages overall mechanical integrity strategy for equipment, which includes inspection method/duration, coordinating repair plan, and communicating to key stakeholders.

  • Owner of the MOC process for hazardous chemicals (creates MOC’s, drives to completion, and maintains organized documentation of process).

  • Leader of safety star point meeting in tech services, directly influencing the TS team.

  • Leads and coordinates Process Hazard Analysis (PHA’s).

  • Coordinates and communicates effectively with multiple personnel across the brewery for various PSM initiatives- NDE inspectors, asset care planners, unit managers (all departments), operators, safety specialists, maintenance personnel, environmental engineer, corporate EH&S, various contractors, upper management.

The Other Qualifications:

  • Background in engineering and/or manufacturing experience (chemical engineering preferred or related field).

  • Familiarity and/or experience with process safety management.

  • Safety mindset and leadership, commitment to safety and environmental compliance, proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential safety risks.

  • Understanding and ability to identify and analyze hazards associated with hazardous materials.

  • Ability and preference towards structure and standards.

  • Ability to read PFD’s and P&ID’s, understanding of process equipment and ability to facilitate MOC process.

  • Prefer to understand key standards associated with PSM (OSHA, ASME, EPA RMP, etc).

  • Detail oriented individual and standards driven, enjoys being precise & executing standard work procedures daily.

  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

Job Posting Salary Range: (US/Colorado) $87,500 - $125,800
