The Public Works Department is seeking an Equipment Operator Trainee.

The ideal candidate will have 01-year experience in road maintenance, snow removal, and be capable of operating truck/trailer, loader, backhoe and other equipment.Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Must obtain an Arizona driver\'s license by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Final job offer will be contingent upon a satisfactory 5-year Arizona Motor Vehicle Report. Additional Requirements: Must obtain a valid Arizona Class B Commercial Driver\'s License within one year of hire and maintain throughout employment.
