Detailed Description

Collaborates with the Business, BSA and Development teams in the analysis, review and translation of User Stories to ensure testability, coverage, and to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives. Automate these test cases, and execute on a regular basis. Create and maintain test cases and test data using test automation tools. Actively participate in the review of architectural and technical design specifications. Write, review, and maintain the automation test scripts in RubyMine, intellij and other automation tools. Works with the scrum team on defect analysis and triage. Identifies any potential quality issues per defined processes and escalates potential quality issues immediately to management. Assigns defect severity, and manages defects throughout the sprint. Perform all aspects of verification, including integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing. Develop and implement well-defined test automation framework. Creates test status reports from the automation runs via azure. Creates test results and test summary deliverables to ensure production implementation readiness.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 3 years creating and enhancing Java based automation frameworks based on Selenium or Appium to test mobile applications on Perfecto. Experience must include creating and managing test plans using Microsoft Test Plans, Azure DevOps, or related technologies; Experience with SQL to query for data and update or create information using SQL Server or related systems; Experience with different browsers, both desktop and mobile, as well as technologies that can be leveraged to test those applications such as HTML, JavaScript, Selenium, Maven, RubyMine; Experience with Object oriented programming languages or frameworks such as Java, Selenium, RubyMine, Android Studio, or XCode; Experience running tests on mobile devices via physical device, Perfecto, Android Simulators from Android Studio, or iOS emulators from xCode; Experience with modular and data driven frameworks that provide performance testing such as Jmeter, TestNG, LoadRunner, or similar open source technologies; Experience in an Agile environment following one of the many implementations such as Scrum or Kanban; Experience with industry standard databases such as Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server. Experience must include 1 year with defect tracking, document management, and knowledge base systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), or HP Quality Center (HPQC) and Experience building automation scripts using SpecFlow, TestNG, or related open source technologies.
