As a Software test Lead, you will be responsible for leading and handling the verification and validation activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Your role will involve ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of software products through effective testing and validation processes.

What will you do?

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy aligned with project goals and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to define testing objectives and timelines.

  • Develop test automation suites using UFT framework.

  • Own the creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.

  • Ensure adequate test coverage to mitigate risks associated with software changes.

  • Supervise and lead a team of verification and validation test engineers. Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Be responsible for the execution of testing activities, including functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Evaluate, implement, and coordinate the use of automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Drive the adoption of standard processes for test automation within the team.

  • Establish and implement processes for defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.

  • Find opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

Minimum Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Bachelors / master’s in computer science.

  • 8+ years of testing experience for medical device products.

  • Strong hands-on experience in automation using UFT.

  • Experience in testing IVD products.

  • Validated experience in software verification and validation of medical device or IVD software products according to ISO 13485, with a focus on leading testing efforts.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards.

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for software development (e.g., FDA, ISO standards).
