Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoots, repairs, and conducts intricate electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on a variety of food processing equipment and machinery panels.

• Regularly performs preventive maintenance on equipment, utilizing both hand and power tools for efficient execution.

• Engages in fabricating duties as required, excluding tasks related to pipe and tube media delivery systems.

• Provides support for other building maintenance or repair endeavors as necessary.

• Ensures the manufacturing, distribution, and consistent upkeep of safe and high-quality food by adhering to stringent protocols including good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory standards.

• Maintains and documents preventive controls vital for ensuring food safety and quality, promptly reporting any issues to management.

• Collaborates with team members, sharing expertise and information across functional areas, and actively seeks opportunities for professional and leadership growth.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time

• working weekends
